It's not everyday my work appears in the NYT, on CNN, or Haaretz. But, it also isn't everyday that this type of find is announced. I excavated these bones between 2002 - 2008, and determined they were hybrids. Now, that has finally been proven via DNA.

Did anyone really think this wouldn't be on my list of favorites??? #lebnat from @merselwine. The Gold #petnat from #lebanon is on *my* NYE menu. Citrus, a hint of the tropics, fine bubbles... A little birdie told me it is available in the @rexphl bottle shop tonight (along with other goodies!) for your NYE needs :)

This wine has been one of my suprise favorites of 2021. It started on the menu @jetwinebar and now it is at @rexphl. @kivelstadtcellars #carbonicmaceration #syrah drinks like a savory gamay and pairs beautifully with #hoppinjohn, #shrimpandgrits, and #crawfishpotpie.

The first #georgianwine we ever carried at @jetwinebar was @chateau.mukhrani #rkatsiteli back in 2011 or maybe 2012. They remain one of my favorite producers, and a good rkats is just sublime. Like this one! So complex with notes of edamame, tarragon(?), banana, papaya. We don't currently sell this at @jetwinebar but I wish we could. What holiday wines will you buy? I'll give one of my faves every day... One tradition is to put an orange in kids' christmas stockings. I say skip the stocking and just give your favorite adult an orange wine, instead :) I have many favorites, but the #orange #merwah from @merselwine, Lebanon, stands out. It is an easy but interesting drinker made from an indigenous grape. It is in the middle in this pic of Emily's faves! buy it from @jetwinebar bottle shop!
