Ligurian Cooking Class and Wine Pairing

Join Jill Weber of ,Jet Wine Bar and Gemma Richardson of Love, Annamaria for a one-of-a-kind Ligurian wine tasting and cooking class, pairing Focaccia al Formaggio with Vermentino!
Gemma, who recently launched their Amorpesto genovese in Philadelphia food markets and small retail, is passionate about their ligurian heritage and is excited to share recipes and dishes beyond basil pesto which we all know and love. It was serendipitous when Jill, owner of Jet Wine Bar on South Street  and a lover of Italy and specifically Liguria, asked Gemma about “focaccia al formaggio”. Contrary to its name, this dish is not quite a bread, though unforgettable once you’ve tried it. Jill will be talking about a gem of a wine from Liguria to pair with this dish, a sea-kissed Vermentino from producer Poggio dei Gorleri.
We are looking forward to this fun “working” Aperitivo with you on Saturday, February 27th at 5pm.
Packages are $75 which include a bottle of wine with tasting notes and ingredients with a recipe card. A zoom link will be sent out to you upon registration.
How to reserve: we are accepting pre-orders now through Wednesday 2/24.
Packages can be picked up at Jet Wine Bar on Friday 2/26.
