Is this beer too expensive? I paid a bit less than $1/oz for a 12 pack from the Beer Distributor. Why? Well, I do love Gueuze and have had good luck with Lindemans beers, generally. It drinks like a wine, with a lighter body, great acid, tart lemon. If it were a wine, it would be about $26/bottle most places, or about $7319 after PA’s $90 billion Johnstown Flood tax and mark-up. It isn’t worth that! But, this Cuvee Rene is a tasty treat. And look at the pretty bottle!
